A long weekend of coastal walks with the opportunity to walk the UK’s shortest Coast to Coast, The Saints Way (or sections of it) and enjoy a chocolate and dessert wine tasting presentation. Join us on this long weekend that takes us way down south-west to Celtic Cornwall and enjoy some fantastic Cornish walks along its scenic coast and inland countryside. For those who like a challenging walk why not try the UK’s shortest coast to coast (28miles) the Saints Way. Based on the paths that sailors used to walk between Padstow and Fowey – they felt much safer walking coast to coast rather than taking the dangerous sea route around Lands End. This route takes us from Padstow into the heart of the Cornish countryside with its scenic views towards the beautiful Gollant estuary and our end point at Fowey. With great food and company all weekend long and a chocoholic delight on Sunday evening this has the makings of one of our most memorable weekends of 2012. Our weekend will end on Sunday evening with a French style Raclette supper and chocolate/dessert wine tasting presentation – surely perfect bliss for all chocolate lovers! | ||
