Hill Walking plus optional free introductory navigation course or horse trekking in the Brecon Brecon’s of south Wales.

Join us and enjoy hill walking on the lofty ridges of the Brecon Beacons of South Wales - our most accessible mountains from the south-east of England. Staying in the excellent bunkhouse at Cantref Farm we are close to the central Beacons and the town of Brecon itself. During the weekend we will offer   canal and country walks or alternatively a yomp across the high tops of the Brecon Beacons. Opportunities available to join our free introduction to navigation course (places limited) that is a pilot for our full NNAS (National Navigation Award Scheme) navigation course planned for 2012.

Cantref farm also offers excellent pony trekking (discounts available for groups using the centre) so just let me know if that optional extra is of interest. With fine food on the Saturday evening and spirit to match it will make a lovely start to our 2012 Walkfree Breakfree walking programme.
